Design of DVD Processor ES60X8 in Car Audio System Design of DVD Processor ES60X8 in Car Audio System Fan Yuanchun Wu Gang Department of Automation, University of Science and Technology of China Abstract: This paper briefly introduces the ES60X8 series DVD processor, gives the structure of the car DVD audio system based on ES60X8, and the interface design between each module; it focuses on the electronic anti-vibration design of the external SDRAM and the PCB anti-interference design. Keywords: DVD; car audio; electronic anti-vibration; PCB anti-interference design Introduction In recent years, with the rise of my country\'s automobile industry, the related car multimedia technology has also flourished. At present, car multimedia is mainly concentrated in audio-visual technology. The maturity of DVD technology has brought people higher clarity, more perfect auditory experience, and longer playback time. The audio-visual effect represents the development direction of the current car audio industry. Car audio design has higher requirements than home audio design: due to the small space and high ambient temperature of car audio, it is necessary to consider more anti-high temperature and anti-interference design; at the same time, there is often a bumpy operating environment caused by uneven roads, which requires the anti-interference design of car audio. The car DVD audio system introduced in this paper has the characteristics of modular design, integration, universalization, superior sound and image performance, and good shock resistance. Figure 1 System structure diagram System structure There are two basic implementation methods for the encoding/decoding system of the audio system: one is to use a high-speed general-purpose microprocessor such as a DSP chip, and the DSP chip has both the encoding/decoding function and the system control function, which has good flexibility and adaptability. However, the DSP performance, development requirements and cost requirements are high, which is not conducive to mass production by manufacturers. The other is to use a mature dedicated video chip and a main control CPU with low performance requirements. Compared with the use of DSP for comprehensive self-development and design, the second solution will greatly reduce the hardware scale, shorten the development cycle, enhance system reliability, and reduce production costs. This system uses the DVD processor ES60X8 and the main control CPU TMP87CH47U as the main components, which can realize audio playback in multiple formats such as CD, VCD, MP3, DVD, etc. The ES60X8 series DVD processor is a product of ESS, which includes two parallel processing units, an RI...
