Network and Communication Technology of Computer Control System Overview of Computer Network Computer network refers to a computer system that connects several computers or devices with different geographical locations and independent functions through communication equipment and lines to achieve information transmission and resource sharing. The computers or devices (or nodes) in the network communicate with each other and can achieve resource sharing. Resources include hardware resources, software resources and database resources. Overview of Data Communication Data exchange between computers and between computers and instruments and equipment is called data communication. A communication network (such as a telephone exchange network, a user telegraph network and a dedicated communication network) is required to transmit data signals and is related to data processing. Fieldbus Fieldbus is a digital communication system used in the production site to realize bidirectional serial multi-nodes between microcomputerized measurement and control equipment. It is also called an open, digital, multi-point communication low-level control network and is known as a computer local area network in the field of automation. It converts various scattered measurement and control devices into network nodes, and uses the fieldbus as a link to connect them into a networked control system that can communicate with each other, exchange information, and jointly complete self-control tasks.
