An interactive data mining framework based on the evaluation of TCM efficacy of pediatric pneumonia was designed and implemented. The framework uses a combination of data mining, mathematical statistics and logical analysis to reveal the correlation between each syndrome and its symptoms through retrospective and prospective multi-angle verification and comparative studies. It not only breaks through the limitations of traditional efficacy evaluation methods, but also optimizes the efficacy standards and establishes an objective, human-computer interactive and measurable disease-syndrome combined efficacy evaluation system.
