It consists of a relaxation oscillator composed of a single-junction transistor VTi, a resistor Ri, a potentiometer RP, a capacitor C, and a triode VTz amplifier. By adjusting the potentiometer RP, the oscillation frequency of the relaxation oscillator can be changed to obtain
a time base pulse of 0.1 to 15s. The pulse is amplified by VTz and then outputs a square wave pulse as the input signal of the time counter.
