The TV signal from the antenna is coupled to the base of transistor BG through capacitor C1, amplified, and then taken out by the resonant circuit composed of inductor and capacitor. L1, L2 and the distributed capacitance at the BG output end form a parallel resonant circuit with a resonant frequency of 48~92MHz, while the series resonant circuit formed by L3 and C4 has a resonant frequency of 165~225MHz. The entire circuit is staggeredly tuned in the passband of 48~225MHz Within the range, it can amplify any channel TV signal in the VHF frequency band.
