Attenuation circuit

When making speakers, we may choose speakers with different sensitivities, or the speakers may have the same sensitivity but different impedances
, resulting in uneven output sound pressure of the speaker system
and making the sound appear uncoordinated. In this case, an attenuator is needed to
prevent the output from overshooting. The high speaker input power is attenuated
to equalize the sound pressure in the entire frequency band.
Attenuators are generally used on mid-range and high-frequency units. Attenuators
generally include constant resistance variable attenuators and fixed attenuators,
as shown in Figure 6-24.
The constant resistance variable attenuator can continuously adjust the attenuation
amount and is very convenient to use. Fixed attenuators attenuate according to a predetermined attenuation amount and are widely used in amateur productions.
