149. The circuit is shown in Figure 3-149. This circuit uses the principle of capacitor energy storage charge and discharge to achieve braking, and is suitable for
single-phase motors below 0.5kW.
    When stopping, cut off the power switch os, the motor is separated from the AC power supply and rotates inertly. At the same time, the relay KA loses power and is released.
Its normally open contact is closed, and the capacitor Cl is directly connected across the stator winding of the motor through the diode V , forming a discharge
circuit . The magnetic field generated by the discharge current prevents the rotation of the rotor and achieves the purpose of braking.
