Are there any friends who do wearable testing? [Copy link]

Are there any friends who work on wearable devices? What methods or equipment do you use to test the standards of some medical devices? For example, for simulating heart rate, are there related equipment that can provide a simulation environment?

At that time, we tested these physiological (heart rate, electrocardiogram) characteristics directly on real people (ourselves and our colleagues).

But if you want to get a medical device certificate, it doesn't make sense to use people to do the testing. There should be some kind of testing equipment. Are you engaged in related work?

Similar to this direction, I can use circuits to simulate human electrocardiogram, but not pulse waves.  Details Published on 2023-10-12 17:31

Oh, have you ever used a similar device to simulate electrocardiogram?  Details Published on 2023-10-13 09:30

In order to ensure the authenticity of the data, can we really use real people for experiments? Aren't we afraid of any safety risks?

I think there should be such equipment. If we use real people, there may be differences between people, and there is no standard definition.  Details Published on 2023-10-13 18:38

If you need anything, you can send me a private message and I will introduce you to a professional laboratory. We do reliability, cytotoxicity, hemolysis and other verification of various medical devices there.

It depends on the instrument. Experiments that are harmful to the human body will definitely not be conducted on real people.

I have been engaged in the development of medical equipment for many years. According to my experience, the development of medical equipment has related signal generating instruments, such as ECG simulators, blood oxygen signal generators, medical black bodies, standard color cards, etc. Any one of them is extremely expensive, and they also need to be calibrated regularly (the cost is very expensive). Even if you pass the testing and calibration of these instruments, you may not be able to obtain a registration certificate (which is also extremely expensive and takes a long time). The development of secondary medical equipment basically starts at three million (the kind that obtains formal certification)

I have never worked in this industry, so I am not sure. Should I use real people to test it?

A friend introduced Jingyang's AECG100, which is just right for the above test. It has a simulation of the environment. It seems that some market supervision and management bureaus are also using it. Thank you everyone.

This type of equipment is generally a small wearable device, so the testing can usually be done by engineers, and the environment is nothing more than testing in a normal environment.
