Have you ever thought about attaching an inertial measurement unit (IMU) to an object to track its posture and motion? Tracer provides high-performance, safe, reliable and low-cost object tracking. Tracer can be easily attached to objects using Velcro. It can tilt and track rhythm as the bike's frame tilts, it can record the number of shots taken with a tennis racquet, and it can even differentiate between topspin and chip shots. Let your imagination run wild and explore more interesting applications of Tracer!
Tracer is based on existing open source projects, can be integrated with Phyphox, and supports users to program using Micropython and Arduino. Users can also use the Espressif ESP-IDF tool to customize it to the greatest extent.
Tracer is an open source embedded project created based on ESP32. Tracer uses a variety of ESP32 software libraries to give developers insight into the necessary processing and algorithms required to develop motion trackers. Tracer has a powerful IMU and ToF that can be used to sense the surrounding environment, and it also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE connections.
