What is the Internet of Things? What are the key technologies of the Internet of Things? [Copy link]

The Internet of Things starts from applications and uses the Internet and wireless communication network resources to transmit business information. What is the Internet of Things?

The Internet of Things is a complex and diverse system technology. From the perspective of the Internet of Things architecture, the Internet of Things can be divided into four levels: perception technology, transmission technology, support technology, and application technology.

Perception Technology

Perception technology refers to the technology used to perceive information at the bottom layer of the Internet of Things, including radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, sensor technology, GPS positioning technology, multimedia information collection technology and QR code technology.

Transmission technology

Transmission technology refers to the technology that can gather sensory data and realize data transmission in the Internet of Things. It includes mobile communication network, Internet, wireless network, WeChat communication, short-range wireless communication, etc. Short-range wireless communication mainly includes wireless LAN, Bluetooth, NFC (near field communication) technology and infrared transmission technology, ZigBee, and RFID.


Supporting technologies
are technologies used for IoT data processing and utilization, including cloud computing technology, embedded systems, artificial intelligence technology, database and data mining technology, etc.

Application technology
Application technology refers to the technology used to support the operation of IoT application systems. The application layer mainly develops and forms various industry application solutions based on the characteristics of the industry and uses Internet technology to build intelligent industry applications.


As the Internet of Things continues to develop and grow, smart homes are also becoming more intelligent. Therefore, smart sockets, smart TVs, smart air conditioners, smart refrigerators, smart lighting, etc. have changed our lives.
