Motor is an electrical device used to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy, commonly known as a motor. Its main function is to generate driving torque as a power source for electrical appliances or small machinery. With the development of technology, the speed, torque and position of motors can be precisely controlled, making motors very widely used in practical applications. They can be seen everywhere in life. In our printers, engraving machines, smart homes and control machinery, motors are also an indispensable part of them. This book is divided into two parts to explain the control of motors from principles to driving methods to applications.
The first part is the basic part. This part explains in detail the composition principles and driving methods of various motors, what encoders and drivers are, and how to achieve simple open-loop control. The motors will be divided into DC, stepper and servo motors and explained separately. Each motor will first explain its working principle and driving method. After understanding its working principle and driving method, we will make the motor rotate through programming.
The second part of this book is the advanced part, which mainly explains the use of advanced motor control methods and source code. This part starts from a practical perspective. It not only has theoretical derivations, but also the whole process from theory to practice, applying theoretical knowledge to motor application development. This part will explain what a closed-loop control system is, how to adjust PID parameters, and the advanced applications of stepper motors, so that you can truly master motor applications.
