Why is the safety spacing of the board edge set in Altium Designer 18 invalid? [Copy link]

As shown in the figure, when setting the spacing from the board edge Outline Edge to each element in Manufacturing, it is found that it is only effective for Polygon copper pouring, and the rest are all invalid. What is the reason?

Is it necessary to add a separate spacing rule to set the spacing from the edge of the board to various pads, vias, and traces?

Is it possible that there is a conflict with some rules, and the priority is not as high as the other one?   Details Published on 2022-8-1 10:56

The Board Outline Clearance is the board margin.
Generally, 10mil is sufficient.

You can actually test it by placing the pad or via within 10mil of the board edge to see if there is an error. I have tested placing the pad at the board edge, or even beyond the board edge, and there is no error. I am using the AD18 version, and it should be the same for other versions. I have tested that placing the pad on the edge of the board, or even beyond the edge of the board , will not cause an error. I am using the AD18 version, and it should be the same for other versions.
