The CH224 is so easy to use (this is really worth praising). After doing the initial test, I felt that there was nothing to test, so I started to draw the circuit directly. This time I plan to use the CH224 for another DIY programmable meter to get more power from the USB. Because the data function of the USB interface is needed, the CH221K that does not occupy the data interface is used. It implements the PD function through CC1/CC2.

The basic circuit is shown in the figure:

Can the chip be adjusted continuously with the minimum step voltage of the PD specification? If it supports continuous adjustment, it will be used in a much wider range of applications. At least it can be used with a mobile phone power adapter to realize a simple single-channel low-power experimental power supply, which is more practical for electronic engineers.

It cannot be adjusted continuously, and only supports 5V/9V/12V/15V/20V. If you need continuous adjustment, you can pay attention to a DIY I am doing:

Voltage support cannot be adjusted arbitrarily, but has several fixed values.
