1. Description
The LT7911UXC is a high performance Type-C/DP1.4a to MIPI or LVDS chip for VR/display applications.
As the upstream of the HDCP repeater, HDCP RX can cooperate with the HDCP TX of other chips to realize the repeater function.
For DP1.4a input, LT7911UXC can be configured as 1/2/4 lanes. Adaptive equalization makes it suitable for long cable applications and maximum bandwidth up to 32.4Gbps.
For MIPI output, LT7911UXC has configurable single-port or dual-port or quad-port MIPIDSI/CSI with 1 high-speed clock channel and 1~4 high-speed data channels, using D-PHY at a maximum of 2.5Gbps/lane, which can support a total bandwidth of up to 40Gbps for 4 ports. LT7911UX also supports 5.7Gbps/lane with C-PHY, which can support four ports with a total bandwidth of up to 68.4Gbps.
For LVDS output, LT7911UXC can be configured as single-port, dual-port or quad-port LVDS, 1 high-speed clock channel, 3~5 high-speed data channels, each channel has a maximum operating rate of 1.2Gbps, and can support a total bandwidth of up to 24Gbps. LT7911UXC supports 2D and 3D applications with flexible video data mapping paths.
Provides two digital audio output interfaces I2S and SPDIF. The I2S interface supports 8-channel LPCM, and the SPDIF interface supports 2-channel LPCM or compressed audio, with a sampling rate of 192khz.
The device is capable of autonomous operation, which is controlled by an integrated microprocessor using embedded SPI flash firmware storage. System control is also possible via a configurable I2C slave interface.
The LT7911UXC is fabricated using an advanced CMOS process and implemented in a 9mmx9mm BGA169 package.
