Why is there so little information about MPU chips? [Copy link]

 

I have tested some MPU chips in the past, but the information about chips that can run Linux is very scarce. I don't know why. I heard that the information needs to be signed with a confidentiality agreement, but the information about the same chip MCU is mostly open. I don't know why. Is it a common practice in the industry?
