[Information] The latest domestic card swiping chip (ultra-low power consumption 13.56M chip) [Copy link]

SI522 (ultra-low power 13.56M chip) replaces rc522 and is fully compatible with PIN to PIN
. SI522 is a member of the highly integrated card reader and writer series chips used in 13.56MHz contactless communication.
Main advantages of Si522:

1. Direct PIN2PIN compatible with RC522, and FM17550/FM17520/RM522

2. Completely replace RC522, the receiving power consumption is reduced by 10mA, compared with the newly added automatic card search and timed wake-up, the automatic card search power consumption is 4.5uA, the lowest in the industry.

3. The first new card search method, the card reader module no longer crashes.

Overview of SI522

Si522 is a highly integrated contactless reader chip working at 13.56MHz. The reader supports ISO/IEC 14443 A/MIFARE. Without any other peripheral circuits, the internal transmitter of Si522 can drive the reader antenna to communicate with ISO/IEC 14443A/MIFARE cards and transponders. The receiver module provides a powerful and efficient circuit to demodulate and decode the signals of ISO/IEC 144443 A/MIFARE compatible cards and transponders. The digital module handles the complete ISO/IEC14443 A frame and error detection function (parity and CRC).

Si522 supports MIFARE products. Si522 supports contactless communication and has a two-way communication rate of up to 848kBd with the MIFARE series.

Si522 has internal integrated low-power automatic card search and timed wake-up functions, programmable card search time interval, no MCU operation is required during the card search process, and the successful card search interrupt wake-up or timed wake-up MCU achieves low current consumption while ensuring the stability of the low-power card search mode.

Provides the following host interfaces:

1SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface)

2Serial UART (similar to RS232, the voltage level value depends on the pin supply voltage)

3Standard two-wire serial interface
