The TMS320C6678 Lite Evaluation Module (EVM) is an easy-to-use, cost-effective development tool that helps developers quickly start designing with the C6678 or C6674 or C6672 multicore DSPs. The EVM includes a single onboard C6678 processor and powerful connectivity options, allowing customers to use this AMC package card in a variety of systems. They can also be used as standalone boards.

Software accompanying the 6678L EVM includes Code Composer Studio Integrated Development Environment version 5 (CCS v5), Multicore Software Development Kit (MCSDK) including Board Support Package (BSP), Chip Support Library (CSL), Power-On Self-Test (POST), Network Development Kit (NDK), SYSBIOS and Out-of-Box (OOB) Demonstration Software.

The EVM's emulation capabilities and software allow customers to program the C66x DSP and benchmark algorithms to be implemented on the C6678/4/2 DSP.

AMC to PCIe Adapter Card
This is a passive adapter card that allows select TI EVMs with AMC connectors to be converted to PCIe x4 lane edge connectors; so it can be plugged into a desktop computer or anywhere that uses PCIe connectors. The selected TI EVM must support native PCIe on the DSP. This card acts as an adapter and requires a TI DSP EVM that is compatible with the AMC edge connector.

This adapter card includes the following features:
The adapter card is a PCIe x4 lane, compact and compact
One x4 lane PCIe PCB edge finger connector
One AMC B+ style (170 pin) PCB edge finger connector
One AMC B+ style connector sleeve (AMC socket) to accommodate
the connector for the EVM to provide DC power to the fan (if required)
