AD PCB3D imports 3D PCB display errors - [Solved] [Copy link]

Importing 3D PCB error as shown below

Details: Company version AD6 (older version
According to the online suggestion, import the 3D model (*Step file) in PCB LIB->place->3D BODY,
but AD6 does not have this option and can only hand-draw 3D

You can only add PCB3D to the circuit diagram component but cannot change the position and direction

Is there any way to display the PCB 3D image normally?

AD6 should have this interface

Double-click the model to pop up the 3D Body dialog box. In the Rotation X/Y/Z in Generic STEP Model, you can set the direction and angle of model rotation respectively.

Forgot AD6 operation page

Since you can import 3D models, there should be an operation to rotate the model.

Solved. Open PCB 3D LIBRARY->press PCB 3D LIB on the lower right (it will not be displayed if not pressed)->a window pops up on the left->click SET X, Y, Z. Thank you.

There may be something wrong with the packaging. Try adjusting the angle and position in the packaging.
