Ask everyone a question about 4G wireless data transmission [Copy link]

I have a question for the masters. Thank you in advance! Now I want to make a 4G wireless data transmission solution, the purpose is to realize the data exchange between the mobile phone APP or PC and the terminal. This requires the use of a 4G module. I searched on the Internet and found that there are already made modules from other companies, such as Ailutong, Yinghantong, etc. They are more convenient to use, but the price is still under consideration. Another way is to do it yourself. The hardware circuit can refer to the official one, but I don’t know how to do the software. When using it, is it directly for serial communication? Is it to transmit the data on the terminal directly to the module through TXD? Do I need to care about the TCP/UDP protocol? Do the masters have any good suggestions?

rate? That rate, 4G speed? The maximum speed for uplink and downlink is different, please check it for details   Details Published on 2020-4-7 16:18

It should be AT command.

TCP/UDP protocols have been included

You can find some information and study it in detail.

Agree, buy a module and use the serial port AT command. How high a rate do you need?  Details Published on 2020-4-7 11:55

Most of them provide AT commands. Various protocols have corresponding AT commands. The format needs to be installed to send data and control it through the serial port and several GPIOs.

If you really want to design it yourself, you can't avoid the protocol stack, which is a very difficult and labor-intensive task. Therefore, it is better to buy a finished product with a built-in protocol stack, which can transmit data through simple serial port commands.
