TCP/IP Detailed Explanation (Layer 7/Layer 4 Protocol)

Why is there TCP/IP protocol?
All over the world, various computers run different operating systems to serve everyone. The methods used by these computers to express the same information vary greatly. It is just like God in the Bible disrupted the accents of people from different places, making it impossible for them to cooperate. Computer users realized that computers would not play a big role if they were just fighting alone. Only by combining them can computers play their greatest potential. So people tried every means to connect computers together with wires.
But simply connecting them together is far from enough, just like two people who speak different languages meet each other and cannot communicate at all. Therefore, they need to define something in common to communicate, and TCP/IP was born for this purpose. TCP/IP is not a protocol, but a general term for a protocol family. It includes IP protocol, IMCP protocol, TCP protocol, and the more familiar http, ftp, pop3 protocols, etc. With these, the computer can communicate freely with other computer terminals, just like learning a foreign language.
