TLV61048 is a new low-cost boost converter launched by TI. It adopts SOT23 package, integrates 4.7A switching current power MOSFET, and supports 15V output voltage. TLV61048 supports two switching frequencies of 600kHz and 1MHz, which can be optimized for different requirements of PCB size and working efficiency.

Under the typical application conditions of 2.5V input and 12V / 0.2A output, the efficiency of TLV61048 is as high as 88% . Its high efficiency is very suitable for battery or supercapacitor input applications. At the same time, the duty cycle of TLV61048 is as high as 93%. With an external auxiliary power supply, the input voltage can be as low as 1.2V (12V / 0.2A output), which is the best performance among similar products, greatly improving the utilization rate of batteries or supercapacitors, thereby saving overall costs for users.

As TI's new generation of boost converter, TLV61048 has a very competitive price compared to similar products.
