How to select MOS tubes for three-phase full-bridge inverter drive circuits? [Copy link]

I need to drive three asynchronous motors. The DC bus voltage is about 310V. Does anyone have any good MOS tube recommendations? The withstand voltage of the MSO tube should be 600V.

"I need to drive three asynchronous motors." "Three" should be "three-phase." "Does anyone recommend any good MOS tubes?" How much current is needed? Or you can also know the motor power and other parameters.

Comments

The current is not clear. The motor is 1.5KW. If I use a MOS tube, it seems that the volume will be very large. Is there any IGBT you can recommend? Thank you  Details Published on 2019-1-15 15:10

"The current is not clear, the motor is 1.5KW" is a bit strange. Is your motor a common AC three-phase asynchronous motor? Rated voltage 380V? If so, then your DC bus voltage of 310V cannot reach the voltage of the drive motor after inversion.  Details Published on 2019-1-15 16:17

If your motor is 1.5kW, then under the condition of industrial frequency AC (50Hz) 380V, ordinary MOS tubes can fully cope with it. There are many MOS tube models with a withstand voltage of 500V and a current of 20A. IGBT is not necessary.

I'm not advertising for Infineon. I recommend using Infineon's C3 series, which is relatively easy to use. Refer to the manual when using it. Different Rdson means different current levels: 4A SPA04N60C3 7A SPA07N60C3
