Are there any PCB manufacturers who can popularize PCB surface treatment technology?

Is PCB surface treatment for anti-oxidation? How to choose between HASL and OSP?

Does HASL work permanently?

Vias can be protected by covering with solder mask. The exposed metal may be corroded by oxidation, which has nothing to do with the high temperature you mentioned. High temperature will accelerate oxidation corrosion, which should be clear to middle school students. However, PCB is only exposed to high temperature for a short period of time during the welding process, so the factors to be considered for protection are different. It is recommended that you read the relevant information carefully first, and don't imagine it yourself.   Details Published on 2022-7-4 16:05

Look at the old posts in this column, this question has been answered. However, there is no need to dwell on this. It depends on the purpose and the price you can afford. This needs to be discussed with the specific manufacturer. Different manufacturers have different process levels, and the price difference is very large, and it is also directly related to the quantity.

As for the oxidation you mentioned, that's not all, but nothing is permanent.

Now the entanglement is that if the surface is treated with HASL, and then the exposed pads are attached with electronic components, but there are many vias and some TPs without solder paste, then after the board is completed, will it not oxidize in actual applications in the future? Or is the PCB surface treatment only to prevent oxidation at high temperatures?  Details Published on 2022-7-1 08:00

The dilemma now is that if the surface is treated with HASL, and then the exposed pads are affixed with electronic components, but there are many vias and some TPs without solder paste, then after the board is completed, will it not oxidize in actual applications in the future?

Or does the PCB surface treatment only prevent oxidation at high temperatures, such as the high temperatures in the SMT process?

You can read this article: Introduction to eight surface treatment processes for PCB boards https://en.eeworld.com/bbs/thread-647573-1-1.html

You can also directly explain your needs to the plate-making factory and ask them how to deal with it.
