Live broadcast introduction:
Every power device needs a driver chip - the right driver chip allows you to get twice the result with half the effort.
A typical level-shifting high-voltage driver chip has two main components:

1. The level-shifting circuit, which converts the input logic signal referenced to the COM pin into an output drive signal referenced to the VS pin.
2. The bootstrap diode charges the power supply capacitor at the floating ground end.
Infineon's unique SOI gate driver has obvious competitive advantages:
1. Excellent negative voltage resistance of the VS pin
2. Extremely low level-shifting circuit loss
3. The bootstrap diode integrated inside the chip reduces system costs
