In recent years, the robot industry has experienced explosive growth. Whether in the traditional industrial manufacturing field, high-tech field, or service field, robots are constantly affecting our future lives. On the basis of introducing the concept, development history, classification, application, and development direction of robots, the lecture introduced the two major categories of robots, industrial and special, respectively, and selected service robots that are close to people's lives and international cutting-edge popular research. These two special robots, animal robots, are introduced. By popularizing robot knowledge, the lecture enables people to understand the impact of robots on current and future society, broadens the audience's horizons, and develops students' innovative thinking.
