Shown is a pulse counter circuit. IC I is the BCD adding counter CD4518. It has two clock input terminals CP
and EN. When the rising edge of the clock is used to trigger counting, the counting pulse should be input from the CP terminal, and the EN terminal should be connected to high level, and the clearing terminal Cr should
pass Resistor Ri is held low to ground. IC2 is a BCD-seven-segment latch code, driver CD4543, which is used to decode the binary
BCD code output by IC1. Make it work as a seven-segment stroke code, and then drive the digital tube IC3 to display the counting result. The LD terminal of IC2 is the latch control
terminal, and it should be connected to high level. In this way, with the continuous input of counting pulses, IC3 will display the counting results.
Cl and Rl in the circuit form a differential clearing circuit, so that when the circuit is powered on, the positive pulse generated by the differential circuit clears IC 1.
When the circuit works normally, Ci. Ri will have no effect.
