According to news on November 13, the 2023 Digital Technology Ecology Conference was held in Guangzhou recently. China Telecom Quantum Group demonstrated China Telecom’s new product in the field of quantum security for the first time—Huawei Mate60 Pro quantum encrypted voice customized terminal.
According to the "China Telecom Quantum" public account, Huawei's Mate60 Pro quantum encrypted customized terminal integrates quantum information technology with the VoLTE network, using domestic chips, national secret algorithms and quantum security SIM cards for "triple protection."
It is understood that users can directly make quantum encrypted calls through the phone's native dial pad, and at the same time use functions such as encrypted file transfer, encrypted instant messaging, and secure office coordination in the preset Quantum MeSign App.
Officials stated that Huawei’s Mate60 Pro quantum encrypted voice customized terminal uses domestic chips and self-developed quantum security middleware to complete the encryption and decryption of VoLTE voice data on the mobile phone side, effectively preventing calls from being monitored during network transmission.
At the same time, a new key will be randomly generated for each call to ensure communication security.
Every time a user initiates a "quantum secret conversation", the key in the card will be randomly selected to verify the user's identity. After the authentication is passed, the quantum network will generate a new key in real time to encrypt the session data.
It is reported that in January 2021, China Telecom officially launched the first carrier-grade quantum security product-Tianyi Quantum Secret.
In November 2022, Tianyi Quantum Secret Call was upgraded to 2.0. Based on the original quantum encrypted call, it expanded the functions of image and text security, voice security, video security, and burning after reading.
It is worth mentioning that in October this year, the number of online users of Tianyi Quantum Chat nationwide exceeded 1 million.
At the 2023 China International Digital Economy Expo held in September this year, Tianyi Quantum Secret stood out from more than 200 projects and won the first prize for "New Achievements".
The China International Digital Economy Expo is the only national exhibition named after the digital economy in the country, representing the forefront and new heights of China's digital economy.
