With the arrival of the WWDC developer conference, more details about iOS/iPadOS 16 have been exposed, and from the current situation, the new system will be enhanced in terms of multi-tasking.
The latest news says that the upcoming iPadOS 16 will further enhance the iPad's multitasking capabilities, including allowing users to resize windows.
This feature was discovered by Apple in the open source WebKit infrastructure code on the Github platform and is expected to be announced at the WWDC 2022 conference next month.
The code seems to suggest that users will be able to resize windows with complete freedom on iPadOS, a feature many have been looking for since Apple moved the iPad to its own operating system.
A separate Github update from an Apple engineer also seems to prove the addition of an iPad multitasking mode. As for the specific actual performance, one developer said that he believes it can work like Windows 10's "tablet mode" and can be switched at any time.
