Microsoft confirms the establishment of the Android Experience Department, hinting at the integration of Win11 and Android

     IT Home reported on April 17 that in a new job listing, Microsoft has confirmed that it will integrate its Android work into a department called "Android Microsoft Platform and Experience". This move may allow further integration between Windows 11 and Android.

　　Earlier this week, Microsoft published several job listings for its new division "Android Microsoft Platform and Experiences," which aims to bring apps/services Phone Link or Your Phone, SwiftKey, Microsoft Launcher, and other services including the "Surface Duo experience" under one division, Windows Latest reported.

　　The job listing states: "The Android Microsoft Platform and Experience team is building the future. We are a world-class platform, middleware, applications, and services organization that brings end-to-end experiences to life across a variety of form factors — empowering customers with powerful connections to Windows, M365, and Azure across the devices they use."

　　It’s unclear exactly how Microsoft plans to improve the Android experience, but expect major improvements to apps like Phone Link and Microsoft Launcher in the coming months.

　　IT Home learned that according to a report from Windows Central, Microsoft has reorganized to better develop software for Android.

　　According to the reorganization plan announced by Microsoft Chief Product Officer (CPO) Panos Panay (the familiar PP brother) in a memo, Surface Duo OS, SwiftKey, Phone Link, Microsoft Launcher and other Android projects will become the new Android Microsoft Platform and Experience (AMPX) department.
