On February 8, Nanxin Semiconductor released a statement on Weibo regarding the false rumors about Xiaomi Pengpai P1.

The description points out that the Xiaomi Pengpai P1 chip is designed by Xiaomi and manufactured by Nanxin Semiconductor (internal code name SC8561). This chip has an ultra-high voltage 4:1 charging architecture, realizes 120W single-cell charging, supports 1:1, 2:1 and 4:1 conversion modes, and all modes are bidirectional, which can realize multiple charging functions such as wired 120W, wireless 50W, and wireless reverse charging.

The Nanxin SC8571 released by Nanxin Semiconductor in September 2021 is an ultra-high voltage 4:2 charging architecture that can achieve 120W dual-cell charging. It supports both 4:2 and 2:2 modes to meet the needs of ultra-high power charging.

The topology structure of Xiaomi's self-developed Surge P1 charging chip is completely different from that of Nanxin SC8571. They are two charging chips with different designs, functions and positioning.
