Following the release of iOS 15.2.1 earlier this month, Apple on Thursday stopped signing iOS 15.2 for all iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads. This means users can no longer downgrade their devices to iOS 15.2.

iOS 15.2 was released to the public on December 13, 2021, with some notable changes, including Apple Music voice control scheme, new app privacy report, digital legacy, and more.

On January 20, iOS 15.2.1 fixed a security vulnerability found in CarPlay and HomeKit that could cause an iPhone or iPad to crash repeatedly.

It’s worth mentioning that if you’re experiencing any serious issues on iOS 15.2.1, you’ll now have to wait until a future update and can’t downgrade to iOS 15.2.

In addition, users running the iOS 15.3 beta can no longer downgrade to iOS 15.2.
