Last October, Meizu and Sony Xperia reached a strategic cooperation, and both parties will jointly focus on the adaptation of Flyme applications and the improvement of localized experience on Sony Xperia 1 III and subsequent models. After that, Sony Xperia 1 III ushered in a system update, pre-installed with Meizu App Store, and three apps from Flyme, including email, weather, and news information.
Recently, there are rumors that Sony's Xperia China version will use Meizu's Flyme system. However, Weibo digital blogger @ZACKBUKS said that he has verified with Sony that the Xperia China version is only cooperating with Meizu to supplement localized applications. Xperia still uses a highly native Android system. In other words, it is not Xperia without native Android, and this basic principle will not change.
It is worth mentioning that there is news today that Geely intends to acquire Meizu. Geely Holding officially responded that it would not comment on market rumors. At present, the R&D business of Xingji Era's high-end mobile phones is progressing in an orderly manner, and it hopes to create an open and integrated ecological partnership. Meizu responded by saying that they thank you for your concern for Meizu Technology.
