Four days ago, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Watch 2, an entry-level smartwatch with an AMOLED screen. The latest news is that Xiaomi applied for a new trademark in Peru last week, hinting at the upcoming launch of a new smartwatch called "Xiaomi Watch S".

The trademark application was filed in Peru with the country's Competition and Intellectual Property Protection Institute (INDECOPI) on November 18, 2021. The trademark is classified in Class 9 and is described as follows: "Smart watch; smart ring; smart glasses; smartphone in the form of a watch."

From the name and description, it can be concluded that this is a smartwatch. It could be a cheaper model or it could stand for "Sport". Details about the features are still unclear. Also, it is not clear when the "Xiaomi Watch S" will be launched.
