This afternoon, Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo China's mobile phone business department, posted the running scores of the new Motorola edge s series. The phone's AnTuTu overall score exceeded 850,000 points, which is less than 150,000 points away from 1 million points.

Chen Jin said that the new generation of edge s series has a running score of 858,000. I am basically satisfied with the Snapdragon 888 Plus of non-gaming phones. If there is a stronger platform, it will be even better.

According to previously leaked information, the next-generation flagship processor of Snapdragon 888 Plus is Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Considering that the score of Snapdragon 888 Plus has exceeded 850,000 points, there is almost no suspense that Snapdragon 8 Gen1 will break through one million points.

Compared with Snapdragon 888 Plus, the Snapdragon 8 Gen1's super-core CPU has been upgraded to Cortex X2 (Snapdragon 888 Plus is Cortex X1 super-core), and the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 has been upgraded to Samsung's 4nm process, the GPU is the new Adreno 730, and it integrates the Snapdragon X65 baseband.

According to the official introduction, the Snapdragon X65 5G modem and RF system is Qualcomm's fourth-generation 5G modem-to-antenna solution. It is the world's first to support 10Gbps 5G speeds comparable to optical fiber. It is also the first modem and RF system that complies with the 3GPP Release 16 specification.

It is reported that Motorola will release new Snapdragon 888 Plus and Snapdragon 8 Gen1 phones next month. The latter may be the first flagship to launch Snapdragon 8 Gen1.
