Recently, China Telecom Tianyi IoT released the latest results of its independently developed distributed Internet of Things operating system (CTWing IoT OS), which builds new impetus for the 5G era by providing six core capabilities and industry digital innovation results such as ubiquitous connectivity, terminal perception, and cloud-edge-end collaboration.

It is understood that the operating system currently serves nearly 300 million IoT users, manages more than 80 million IoT smart terminals, and has promoted China Telecom to become the world's first operator with more than 100 million 5G NB-IoT users; in addition, the operating system has cooperated with ecosystems such as Hongmeng, and will fully open up various capabilities to the industrial ecosystem.

Looking back at the Huawei Developer Conference on October 22 this year, Yu Chengdong said that the goal of HarmonyOS is to become the cornerstone of building "billions of connections, all things connected intelligently". According to him, more than 150 million devices have used HarmonyOS so far, including smart screens, tablets, watches, smart speakers, IoT devices, etc. It is expected that by the end of the year, the number of '1+8' products equipped with HarmonyOS will reach 200 million, and next year there will be more devices equipped with HarmonyOS. "

Yu Chengdong also mentioned that in the automotive field, the Hongmeng ecosystem is undoubtedly worth looking forward to. He revealed that the new generation of luxury mid-size SUV jointly developed by Huawei and Xiaokang Seres will be equipped with a smart cockpit based on HarmonyOS and will be launched at the end of this year or early next year.
