On November 10, Royole Technology announced that it had signed a large order contract totaling RMB 600 million. According to the agreement, Royole will provide customers with its independently developed and produced flexible OLED display modules, which will be shipped in 2022 and all orders will be delivered within 2 years. The flexible screen OLED display module provided by Royole Technology this time uses Royole's original ultra-low temperature non-silicon process integration technology (ULT-NSSP) and is manufactured by Royole International Flexible Display Base in Longgang, Shenzhen.
The flexible screens produced by Royole Technology have been applied and verified in a large number of actual products for more than two years. Their advantages in display performance, screen reliability and cost have gradually emerged and have been recognized by more and more customers. Royole Technology's own technical level and customer service capabilities have also been steadily improved. Royole Technology believes that the signing of this order can be regarded as another market certification of Royole's own technology and products.
It is understood that in addition to the steady progress in transportation fields such as railways and civil aviation, the many flexible electronic innovation solutions launched by Royole Technology have also set off a trend of flexible transformation in more industries. Applications such as Soft Tree and RoMeeting flexible smart nameplate have appeared at internationally renowned high-end summits and forums such as the World Top Scientists Conference, Boao Cultural and Creative Week, and East China Expo.
Market research firm UBIResearch predicts that the shipment of foldable screen mobile phones will reach 8.9 million units in 2021. International consulting firm Sullivan predicts that by 2025, the shipment of foldable fully flexible screen and foldable screen mobile phones is expected to exceed 150 million units. In this regard, Royole Technology said that with the continuous expansion of the market scale and the continuous improvement of the industrial chain, Royole Technology is willing to work with many domestic display manufacturers to accelerate the flexible electronics industry again.
