GlobalWafers spot urgent orders continue to pour in, 6/8/12-inch production capacity is fully loaded

According to Juheng.com, semiconductor silicon wafer manufacturer GlobalWafers continues to receive urgent orders for spot goods, which will be queued up until the first half of next year, and its 6-inch, 8-inch and 12-inch production capacities are all fully loaded.

Previously, GlobalWafers Chairman Hsu Hsiu-lan said at a conference that the company's order visibility is very high, and customer demand is also stable in the next two years. It has signed long-term contracts one after another, with contracts lasting 3, 5, and even up to 8 years. The amount of prepayment exceeds NT$19 billion (the same unit below), which is about 20-30% of the order amount.

It is understood that GlobalWafers' estimated order value exceeds 100 billion yuan, but these orders are not completed in one year, and some are long-term contracts of three years.

The financial report shows that GlobalWafers' revenue in the third quarter was 15.364 billion yuan, a quarterly increase of 1.02%, the third highest in history; the cumulative revenue in the first three quarters was 45.378 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10%, continuing to set a new record.
