Equipped with self-developed chips: Google Pixel 6 conference scheduled for October 20

Last night, Google officially announced that it will hold an online press conference at 1 p.m. Eastern Time on October 19th/10 a.m. Pacific Time/1 a.m. Beijing Time on October 20th, at which time it will officially launch the new flagship Pixel 6 series.


According to previous reports, the Google Pixel 6 series includes two mobile phones, the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro. Google officially stated that these two phones are "completely redesigned Google phones" with a center-mounted hole-punch screen on the front and a three-section contrasting color back cover design on the back. They will also be equipped with Google's first self-developed mobile chip, Tensor.


In terms of camera specifications, the Pixel 6 will use a front-facing 12MP selfie camera, a 50MP Samsung GN1 main sensor + a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, while the Pixel 6 Pro will have an additional 48MP periscope lens that supports 4X zoom.

According to foreign media reports, the starting price of Google Pixel 6 is 649 euros (about 4,900 yuan), while the starting price of Pixel 6 Pro is 899 euros (about 6,800 yuan), which is basically the same as Pixel 5.
