According to Jiwei.com, Xiaomi held a "Born to be Good-looking" press conference today, officially launching new products such as the Xiaomi Civi smartphone and Watch Color 2 smartwatch. Among them, the Xiaomi Watch Color 2 uses Goodix's smart audio amplifier and wearing detection solution; the CIVI series of mobile phones uses Goodix's under-screen optical fingerprint solution.
Wearable devices can only achieve a more user-friendly user experience through the innovative application of smart sensors. The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 smartwatch adopts the wearing detection solution launched by Goodix Technology for wearable devices such as bracelets/watches, which brings consumers a natural and intimate human-computer interaction experience. This solution is based on the principle of capacitive detection and integrates detection electrodes on the back of the watch. When it recognizes that the user is wearing the watch on the wrist, it automatically activates the screen or health sensor, reduces the false touch rate in daily use, and extends the battery life of wearable products; at the same time, it can help improve the accuracy of health sensors and enhance the overall user experience. In addition, Goodix Technology also provides Xiaomi Watch Color 2 with a high-performance smart audio power amplifier, which brings a more stable and outstanding sound experience.
In terms of the appearance of the Xiaomi Civi smartphone, Xiaomi Civi uses velvet AG glass, which can bring a velvety soft touch. It has a 1.4mm metal middle frame, the width of the phone is as low as 71.5mm, and the thickness is 6.98mm, which is easy for female users with small hands to hold. There are three colors: Bang Bang Pink, Light Blue and Shining Black.
In terms of screen, Xiaomi Civi uses a 3D micro-curved OLED flexible screen: supports 120Hz refresh rate, 402PPI, peak brightness 950nit, 240Hz touch sampling rate; true 10-bit color and FHD+ professional primary color screen, using flagship strength to take in all kinds of colors.
The overall screen "chin" has been reduced by 16% to 2.55mm, which is Xiaomi's smallest chin to date.
In terms of imaging, Xiaomi Civi has a 32-megapixel front HD lens that supports AF autofocus, a front dual soft light combined with a screen soft light ring, and a built-in spotlight. It supports pixel-level skin renewal and beauty technology, retains skin details, and creates native beautiful skin portraits. The rear has a 64-megapixel HD main camera, ultra-wide angle, and macro, and the three lenses cover daily scenes.
In terms of performance, Xiaomi Civi is equipped with a Snapdragon 778G chip, adopts a 6nm flagship process, has passed TUV Rheinland's 36-month anti-aging certification, supports 90 frames of high frame rate for "Honor of Kings", supports flagship VRS variable resolution rendering, and is also equipped with the latest generation of intelligent temperature control system. 9 layers of graphene temperature equalizer are stacked to maintain the best experience at all times.
In terms of other configurations, Xiaomi Civi has a built-in 4500mAh battery, supports 55W fast charging, and is equipped with stereo dual speakers.
In terms of price, the Xiaomi Civi 8GB+128GB version is priced at 2,599 yuan, the 8GB+256GB version is priced at 2,899 yuan, and the 12GB+256GB version is priced at 3,199 yuan. Pre-sales with deposits will start at 15:00 on September 27, and will be officially available through all channels at 10:00 on September 30.
