Apple's suppliers have previously started shipping BT substrates, which will be part of the internal components of AirPods 3, indicating that the new wireless headphones are expected to be launched in 2021. The whistleblower pointed out that AirPods 3 will come standard with a wireless charging box. This means that Apple will not charge consumers more as before.
In a new tweet, @dylandkt said that AirPods 3 will feature different sized ear tips so that they can fit users naturally. After launching two generations of AirPods with the same size and design, Apple finally gave users an option similar to AirPods Pro.
The tipster also said that AirPods 3 will be released with a new design, which is something that has been reported before. Apple's upcoming wireless earbuds will use a similar system-in-package technology as the AirPods Pro. This technology helps reduce the size of the space occupied by the internal components, which is why the AirPods 3 have a smaller body compared to their predecessors.
As for AirPods Pro 2, a previous report mentioned that it will be launched in 2022 with updated motion sensors and a focus on fitness. However, the latest news shows that AirPods Pro 2 has been delayed, but no reason was provided.
