Apple has now reduced the price of AppleCare+ for the latest MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro models, while the coverage and accidental damage repair costs remain unchanged.

The current price of AppleCare+ for MacBook Air in the United States is $199, down from $249 previously, with different price cuts in other regions. In addition, Apple also plans to provide refunds to users who recently purchased the above models.

For the 13-inch MacBook Pro, Apple has split AppleCare+ into two separate plans, providing support for M1 and Intel chip-based models respectively.

The price of the model equipped with the M1 chip has dropped to $249, and the price of AppleCare+ for the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Intel chip remains at $269.

For domestic users, the service seems to have not changed, and the Intel version and the M1 version still have the same service indicators.

IT Home learned that AppleCare+'s Mac service plan provides up to 3 years of expert technical support and official additional hardware warranty services, including up to two accidental damage warranty services every 12 months, with a corresponding service fee charged each time: for screen damage or body damage, a service fee of 799 yuan is charged; for other damage, a service fee of 2299 yuan is charged.
