Jiangxi: Imports of integrated circuits in the first five months were nearly 2.3 billion, down 11.9% year-on-year

According to statistics from Nanchang Customs, in the first five months of this year, Jiangxi's foreign trade imports and exports totaled 187.98 billion yuan, up 18% year-on-year and 44.7% over the same period in 2019. Among them, exports totaled 140.19 billion yuan, up 21.9% year-on-year and 50.1% over the same period in 2019; imports totaled 47.79 billion yuan, up 7.7% year-on-year and 31.1% over the same period in 2019.

In the first five months, Jiangxi imported 22.97 billion yuan of resource products, up 35.9%, accounting for 48.1% of the province's total imports. Among them, 2.28709 billion integrated circuits were imported, down 11.9% year-on-year, with an import value of 11.73 billion yuan, down 17.6%; 2.99093 billion diodes and similar semiconductor devices were imported, up 23% year-on-year, with an import value of 458.55 million yuan, down 22.2%.

In the first five months, Jiangxi exported 68.23 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, up 8%, accounting for 48.7% of the province's total exports. Among them, automatic data processing equipment (laptops and tablets) and parts exports were 8.56 billion yuan, up 157.5%. During the same period, automobile exports were 1.55 billion yuan, up 94.5%, of which electric passenger cars increased 55.3 times.
