There have been reports that Xiaomi is preparing an annual flagship model. On the afternoon of June 9, @数码闲聊站 broke the news that this flagship model with model number 2106118C has obtained a radio transmission license, further clearing the way for its official debut.

What is more surprising is that this product also supports UWB ultra-wideband transmission technology.

Apple first launched UWB on iPhone 11, and the first Android phone to launch it was Samsung Note 20. UWB uses extremely short pulses (less than 1ns) for wireless communication. It has the characteristics of strong anti-interference ability, high transmission rate, low power and high accuracy. It can be used for indoor high-precision positioning, IoT device interaction, file transfer and other application scenarios.

Of course, back to the phone itself, there are speculations that this annual flagship will belong to the MIX series, adopt under-screen front camera technology, up to 200-watt wired fast charging, and be equipped with a higher frequency Snapdragon 888 Pro processor.

We know that Xiaomi launched the third-generation under-screen front camera technology last year, and the technology has reached the mass production commercial standard. Xiaomi's third-generation under-screen camera technology uses a new self-developed pixel arrangement, which allows the screen to pass light through the gap area of the sub-pixel, so that each unit pixel still retains the complete RGB sub-pixel (Sub-Pixel) display without sacrificing pixel density. Of course, the more advanced fourth- or fifth-generation technology is expected to be used in this annual flagship.
