Jiwei.com reported on June 9 that Sony officially released the WF-1000XM4 true wireless noise-cancelling Bluetooth earphones in China today. The price is 1,999 yuan and pre-sales are now open.

Compared with the previous generation, the Sony WF1000-XM4 is 10% smaller in appearance and is available in black and light gray. Both are decorated with small gold rings. The charging box is 40% smaller. The voice call system has added multi-beamforming circuits and bone conduction assistance. It also has IPX4 sports waterproof and sweat-proof protection, making up for the regrets of the previous generation.

Sony WF1000-XM4 integrates Sony's new integrated processor V1, high-performance driver unit, dual feedback microphone and other technologies to eliminate more noise, and uses newly developed noise-reducing and sound-isolating earplugs that can fit the auricle more firmly, greatly improving the noise reduction performance.

Sony WF1000-XM4 uses a more flexible diaphragm and increases the volume of the magnet by about 20%, generating high-precision noise reduction signals for the low-frequency range, thereby enhancing the low-frequency noise reduction performance. The high-performance dual feedback microphone can capture more ambient sound around, provide stable noise reduction effects in a variety of environments, and make the sound more realistic and pleasant.

Sony WF1000-XM4 supports LDAC encoding, providing up to 3 times the data transmission than ordinary Bluetooth headsets. It also supports DSEE Extreme and 360 Reality Audio, using AI technology to reproduce the original sound source frequency response lost during compression with high precision.

In addition, Sony WF1000-XM4 supports quick pairing with Android and Win10 devices, and can also detect when the user is speaking, automatically pause the music and turn on the ambient sound mode. Sony calls it "intelligent hands-free conversation."
