Disassembly steps:
OPPO Reno 5 uses dual NANO-SIM card trays and does not support flash memory expansion. The card tray is made of plastic with positive and negative markings on the surface. The back cover of the phone is a glass back cover, which is glued to the body and fixed. After heating, the gap between the back cover and the body is cut. After opening, you can see a large area of graphite used to assist in heat dissipation.
The rear camera protective cover on the glass back cover of OPPO Reno 5 is fixed to the back cover by glue. You can see that the part in contact with the lens is covered with shock-proof foam.
The rear cover of OPPO Reno 5 is fixed by screws and buckles. The middle frame is made of plastic and the frame is chrome-plated. The upper part also serves as the motherboard protection cover. The large area of heat dissipation graphite sheet covers most of the motherboard and battery.
The flash module on the rear cover of OPPO Reno 5 is fixed on the graphite sticker, and the sticker can be removed at the same time. The buttons on both sides are made of plastic, and the top and bottom of the inner side of the rear cover are attached with FPC antenna soft boards.
OPPO Reno 5 has a large area of heat dissipation copper foil on the surface of the motherboard shielding cover, and a black graphite sticker on the front camera part.
The OPPO Reno 5 battery is fixed with a double-sided adhesive film and has easy-to-remove handles on both sides. The battery is an ATL dual-cell battery with a single cell capacity of 2100mAh. The bottom speaker module is semi-enclosed and produced by AAC Ruisheng Technology. The vibrator is fixed inside the speaker module.
Disconnect all connectors between the main and sub-boards of OPPO Reno 5, remove the main and sub-boards, there is gray thermal grease applied between the shielding cover position of the main chip and the inner support, and there is a large area of heat dissipation copper foil on the surface of the shielding cover on the back of the motherboard.
Each interface of the OPPO Reno 5 sub-board is equipped with a silicone cover, and the BTB connector connected to the fingerprint module uses a blue silicone cover. The microphone surface is equipped with a shielding cover.
After removing the motherboard of OPPO Reno 5, all the small components on the middle frame can be removed. The two coaxial lines are fixed in the groove on the right side of the inner support by foam adhesive strips. The top earpiece and light distance sensor board are also fixed in their respective installation positions by foam adhesive. The under-screen optical fingerprint reader is also fixed to the bottom of the inner support by foam adhesive. The button soft boards on both sides are fixed by double-sided tape. The main board and the sub-board are connected by two FPC soft boards. The soft board is fixed to the middle frame with black double-sided tape, and the bottom bend is also protected by foam adhesive strips.
OPPO Reno 5 uses a 6.43-inch OLED full screen. The screen and the inner support are fixed with black adhesive. There is a graphite sticker on the front of the inner support and foam on the back of the screen as a buffer.
There are five cameras on the motherboard of OPPO Reno 5, all of which are separate modules, and each camera has different protection. The 2-megapixel macro camera has a foam pad between the motherboard, the 32-megapixel front camera has a graphite sticker on the back, and the 64-megapixel rear main camera has a heat dissipation copper foil on the back.
Module Information:
OPPO Reno 5 uses a Samsung 6.43-inch OLED hole-punch full screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a screen model AMS643YE01.
