Today, Meizu Technology’s official Weibo account announced that the Meizu 18 series will no longer come with a charger to reduce the burden on the environment.
The official Weibo post said that one unnecessary charger will put more pressure on the earth's environment. This is the third manufacturer to stop including chargers after Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi.
Meizu has previously announced that it will hold a new product launch week starting in March, including the premiere of Meizu’s 18th anniversary documentary "These Eighteen Years" on March 1; the Flyme 9 launch conference on March 2; and the Meizu 18 series 5G dual flagship launch conference on March 3.
According to previous network access information, the Meizu 18 will be equipped with a 4000mAh battery and support 36W fast charging, while the Meizu 18 Pro will be equipped with a 4500mAh battery and support up to 40W charging.
Mobile phone manufacturers have stopped providing free chargers, and I believe more manufacturers will join this trend in the future.
