Foreign media MySmartPrice released the latest renderings of the Samsung Galaxy S21+ today, further confirming previous rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ will adopt a straight screen design, which indicates that the Samsung S series will return to the straight screen + curved screen design.
It is worth mentioning that the rendering was not originally created by MySmartPrice, but came from a whistleblower who requested anonymity.
According to the current information, the size of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is 161.5×75.6×7.85mm, and it uses a 6.7-inch 2D straight screen and still uses the Samsung Infinity-O perforated screen.
Judging from the data alone, the phone is shorter, wider and thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus (161.9×73.7×7.8mm). But this phone uses a flat screen, so this is to be expected.
As can be seen from the renderings, the phone uses a rear vertical triple-camera. The flash is not placed together with the rear lens module. There is only a type-C port, multiple microphone and speaker holes at the bottom, a SIM card slot on the top, etc. There are no buttons on the left side, and there are power and volume buttons on the right side.
In addition, it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 flagship processor, and the version sold in the European market will be equipped with Exynos 2100 processor. At present, the battery of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series has passed the national 3C certification. The battery capacity of the Ultra model is 5000mAh, and the whole series is equipped with a 25W power adapter as standard.
Well-known Korean media such as Yonhap News Agency said that Samsung will introduce S Pen support for the S series for the first time in the S21 series product line. However, the Galaxy S21 Ultra does not have a dedicated slot for the S Pen. This means that the stylus cannot be placed inside the phone like the Note series, but the new device can also place it outside the phone.
According to SamMobile and AndroidCentral, each of them has confirmed through their own channels that Samsung will launch its next-generation flagship Galaxy S21 series in early January next year.
