Judging from the overall performance in the first half of the year, the company's operating performance has increased significantly compared with the same period last year, and the comprehensive gross profit margin has increased by approximately 7.17 percentage points compared with the same period last year.
Among them, the consumer electronics business achieved revenue of 1.197 billion yuan in the reporting period, a year-on-year increase of 36.71%. With the advancement of the 5G replacement process, the consumer electronics industry has entered a new round of innovation cycle, the prosperity of the consumer electronics industry and the demand for equipment have gradually recovered, and the company's consumer electronics business and product orders have maintained steady growth.
In addition, the PCB business achieved revenue of 874 million yuan, a significant year-on-year increase of 106.82%. 5G technology has brought about a rapid increase in demand for high-layer PCB communication backplanes and HDI processing equipment. The sales of leading products such as mechanical drilling machines have continued to grow, and the market share of products such as multi-category LDI equipment, CO2 laser drilling equipment, and eight-fold density/super-large table universal testing machines has increased rapidly. The company will expand the high-end market and increase its market share by further improving the performance of high-end products.
It is worth noting that, in response to the changes in the Sino-US trade environment, Han's Laser said that it still has an advantage in domestic autonomy. The company has the ability to self-produce core components such as lasers, cutting heads, CNC systems, and motors. In recent years, the company's self-production rate of high-power fiber lasers has been gradually increasing, and the self-production rate of core laser components has exceeded 90%.
In addition, the company's semiconductor laser packaging and testing equipment has entered the supplier sequence of many leading companies in the packaging and testing industry, and has gradually obtained customer orders; the photovoltaic industry laser equipment achieved revenue of 34.86 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 203.91%; the company's lithography project is progressing smoothly, mainly focusing on applications in 5G communication supporting discrete devices, LED, Mini/Micro-LED new displays, etc., and has achieved small-scale sales. During the reporting period, the company actively responded to the epidemic, responded quickly to market demand, added a full range of mask automated production line business, and formed a stable shipment capacity, which had a positive impact on the company's performance.
