Major projects in Quanzhou involving chips, new display and packaging were signed

On August 29, a number of major projects were signed in various parts of Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. The signed projects involved new generation information technology, intelligent equipment, integrated circuits, semiconductors and other fields.

The following are some of the projects signed this time:

Chip thick/thin film, resistor production line construction project, this project builds a thin film process platform based on chip capacitor products, and a thick film process platform based on temperature compensated attenuators, and expands production capacity and product categories based on the two process platforms. The annual production capacity of chip capacitors will be increased by 12 million, and the annual production capacity of temperature compensated attenuators will be increased by 600,000. 96 new resistor production equipment and testing equipment will be added, mainly including screen printing systems, film thickness testers, laser resistance adjustment systems, magnetron sputtering coating machines and other equipment. After the production line is put into operation, it is expected to increase the monthly production capacity by 200 million chip resistors.

The packaging EMC2.0 project (EMC stands for electromagnetic compatibility), with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, will use the existing factory buildings of Fujian Tiandian Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. to invest in the construction of LED white light packaging equipment. After completion, it will form an EMC2.0 mid-to-high-end lighting series research and development, production and sales industry with an annual output of 20,000KK.

The New Display Research Institute project, invested and constructed by Kefu Times (Fujian) Technology Co., Ltd., will introduce world-class scientific research institutions and industrial partners, integrate scientific research and innovation forces such as first-class domestic and foreign universities, and provide policy research, industrial planning, technological innovation, industry exchanges and other industrial research and support services for the development of the new display industry.

The new material technology project of functional polarizing films will build a polymer material design and development institute, workshops, intelligent warehousing, etc.
