In addition to smartphones, Xiaomi's smart TVs are also popular in markets such as China and India. Recently, according to 3C certification, Xiaomi is preparing to launch new 8K and 4K Xiaomi TVs in China.
According to Weibo user @数码闲聊站, these TVs will use panels from LG Display. According to the model names of these TVs, they are all 82 inches, but with different screen resolutions - 4K and 8K respectively.
Due to the different panel resolutions, they will have different power ratings, however, features like software, connections and ports, speakers, etc. should be the same.
What is unknown about these TVs is their panel type. Since LG Display does not offer QLED panels, these upcoming Xiaomi TVs should feature OLED or backlit LCD. Moreover, this lines up with a report from July that said 19 companies will launch a large number of OLED TVs with LG Display panels in the second half of the year.
